Product Overview
The SMC-AG Coalescer Panel Filter is a permanent stainless-steel coalescer panel and an OEM-equivalent replacement for Altair System 2, Altair Neptune and Altair Vega coalescer panels. Made from stainless-steel mesh rather than fibrous or foam media, it is cleaned rather than replaced, helping reduce filter replacement costs for gas turbine air intake systems, offshore platforms, onshore power stations and marine vessels where reliable filtration, easy maintenance and filter availability matter.
Construction
The SMC-AG core uses crimped, knitted monofilament stainless steel mesh held between layers of stainless steel welded or expanded mesh, giving the panel rigidity and long service life under continuous high-velocity airflow. The frame is available in 304L stainless steel for most industrial and onshore applications or 316L stainless steel for offshore, marine and coastal environments with higher salt exposure. Panels are available in 22 mm and 50 mm depths and supplied with drain holes, adjoining clips and seals for a secure, leak-free fit.
