Product Overview
The P2C-1-AG is a permanent industrial coalescer panel filter designed to protect gas turbines, wind turbines, diesel engines, gas engines, and industrial HVAC air intake systems operating in demanding environments.
Unlike disposable media filters, the P2C-1-AG uses a core of crimped, knitted monofilament stainless-steel mesh. This gives the filter a robust, reusable construction with no risk of media carryover. The permanent design allows the filter to be cleaned and returned to service, helping reduce replacement frequency and ongoing filtration costs.
As an OEM-equivalent replacement, the P2C-1-AG is compatible with Altair® System 2 and Altair® Neptune installations and can be matched to several existing OEM part numbers. It is particularly suited to offshore, onshore and coastal environments where moisture, airborne contamination and corrosion resistance are important considerations.
Construction
The P2C-1-AG features crimped, knitted monofilament stainless-steel mesh retained between layers of welded or expanded stainless-steel mesh. This creates a strong, stable filter core designed to withstand industrial airflow conditions.
The assembly is housed in a stainless-steel frame available in either 304L or 316L stainless steel. For offshore, marine and coastal environments with increased salt exposure, 316L can provide enhanced corrosion resistance.
The filter is available in 22 mm and 50 mm depths, with standard and non-standard sizes available. Drain holes, adjoining clips and seals can also be supplied to support secure installation in existing air intake housings.
