Product Overview
The GT2-AG coalescer panel filter is designed to operate in harsh industrial and marine environments where turbines and engines need reliable protection from airborne particulate contamination and liquid droplets.
It is particularly suited to offshore oil and gas platforms, marine propulsion systems, power generation facilities, and industrial operations. The filter can also be used in offshore wind turbine and HVAC air intake applications.
As an OEM-equivalent replacement, the GT2-AG is compatible with Altair® System 2, Neptune, Vega and Aquila air intake systems. Airguard Envirocare can also match the product against the listed GT2 OEM part numbers to support straightforward replacement and specification matching.
Construction
The GT2-AG consists of a high-efficiency polyester filter mat positioned between two layers of plastic-coated wire mesh. The media is pleated into a corrugated V-profile to increase the effective filtration area while maintaining a rigid filter structure.
The pleated filter core is housed within a robust stainless-steel frame. The filter is available in 22 mm and 50 mm depths, with standard and non-standard dimensions available to meet different air intake housing requirements.
Adjoining clips and seals can also be supplied for secure installation.
