Product Overview
The HXA-AG High-Efficiency Pocket Filter is designed for gas turbine air-intake systems, providing high-efficiency filtration in offshore and coastal environments. It is built to handle high air velocities in both wet and dry conditions, helping protect turbines from challenging intake-air conditions. As an OEM-equivalent replacement for Altair-specified systems, the HXA-AG offers high dust-holding capacity and reliable build quality for demanding power-generation applications.
Construction
The HXA-AG has four filter pockets with a two-stage construction: a high-loft nonwoven mat captures coarser dust, while 100% polypropylene lofted media provides high-efficiency filtration. Needlefelt separators keep the pockets evenly spaced under airflow, helping maintain lower resistance and higher dust-holding capacity. The pockets are held in a stainless-steel frame with a 22 mm header, with standard and non-standard sizes available, plus adjoining clips and factory-fitted seals for multi-panel installations.
