Product Overview
HV3-AG was engineered for gas turbine air intake systems that need reliable protection in offshore and coastal settings. Salt-laden air and moisture can quickly corrode turbine internals if left unfiltered. HV3-AG stops this by combining high fine-particle efficiency with low pressure drop, so the turbine keeps its output and fuel efficiency over long duty cycles.
The filter is optimised for high face velocities, in both wet and dry conditions. As an OEM-equivalent replacement filter, HV3-AG matches the fit and function of the original Altair part, so it drops into existing housings without modification.
Construction
HV3-AG pockets are manufactured from nonwoven needlefelt polyester filter media, chosen for its high efficiency characteristics and non-shedding bonded structure. The filter is supplied with 3 or 4 pockets depending on the housing configuration and is held in a stainless-steel frame with a 22 mm header. Full stainless-steel construction is available for maximum corrosion resistance, along with factory-fitted seals and adjoining clips for bank installations.
