Airguard Envirocare PB1-AG is an OEM-equivalent pre-pocket filter compatible with Altair System 2, Altair Neptune and Altair Vega. It helps protect downstream high-efficiency filters in gas turbine air intake systems from dust, salt, and other airborne contaminants.
Product Overview
The PB1-AG pre-pocket filter is engineered for gas turbine air intake systems operating in demanding offshore, coastal and onshore environments. Installed as an initial filtration stage, it captures coarse dust, salt aerosols and airborne particles before they reach the downstream high-efficiency filters.
With a dust-holding capacity of 625 g at 1 m/s and 93% efficiency at particle sizes up to 5 microns, the PB1-AG helps reduce contaminant loading, extend final-filter service life and support reliable turbine performance. Its cleanable synthetic media and stainless-steel frame make it a durable OEM-equivalent replacement for Altair-specified filtration systems.
Construction
The PB1-AG is available with three or four individual pockets manufactured from non-shedding, thermally bonded polyester media. The pockets are secured within a robust stainless-steel frame with a 22 mm header, providing stability under high-velocity airflow and challenging environmental conditions.
Standard and non-standard sizes are available, with adjoining clips and factory-fitted seals offered where required for secure installation.
