The HVL-AG is engineered for gas turbine air intake systems operating in tough conditions, helping protect the turbine from salt, dust and moisture, especially at offshore and coastal sites where salt-laden air can cause corrosion. Built for high air velocities in wet and dry conditions, it maintains low pressure drop to support turbine output and fuel efficiency, while its OEM-equivalent design allows replacement without changing housing dimensions, mounting method or expected performance.
Each pocket in HVL-AG uses a two-stage build. The first stage is a high-loft pre-filter mat with a high dust-loading capacity. The second stage is a nonwoven needlefelt polyester media chosen for its high efficiency characteristics. Both stages are held inside a robust stainless-steel frame with a 22 mm header. A fully stainless-steel construction is available where corrosion resistance is a priority, along with factory-fitted seals and adjoining clips for multi-filter bank installations.

Common questions about HVL-AG.
The HVL-AG is a high-efficiency pocket filter suitable for gas turbine air intake and industrial air filtration applications. It is designed for demanding environments across sectors including marine, oil and gas, power generation and industrial operations.
Yes. The HVL-AG is an OEM-equivalent high-efficiency pocket filter compatible with Altair System 2, Altair Neptune and Altair Vega air intake systems. It can be supplied as a specification-matched replacement for compatible existing installations.
Send the existing OEM part number, filter dimensions, airflow and efficiency details to Airguard Envirocare. These specifications can be used to identify the appropriate HVL-AG replacement and ensure compatibility with the existing air intake system.
HVL-AG is UK-manufactured to the same media quality and construction standard, but supplied at a lower price than Parker Hannifin/Altair equivalents.
The HVL-AG high-efficiency pocket filter is designed for industrial air filtration and air handling applications where a high-efficiency pocket filter is required to match the system's airflow and particulate filtration requirements.
Yes. The HVL-AG can be matched as a replacement-by-specification filter using the existing filter part number, dimensions, pocket quantity, airflow and required filtration efficiency.
Yes. Provide the current OEM or manufacturer part number, together with dimensions and technical details. This information can be used to determine whether the HVL-AG or another Airguard Envirocare filter is the correct replacement.
The HVL-AG can be used in suitable industrial HVAC and air handling applications where its specified filtration performance and physical configuration match the existing system requirements.
Check the part number, width, height, depth, number of pockets, airflow, efficiency and recommended final pressure drop. Matching these details helps avoid selecting an unsuitable replacement filter.
The correct choice between HVL-AG and HV3-AG depends on the installed filter specification and required performance. Comparing the existing filter part number and full technical specification is the most reliable method.
HVL-AG should be selected according to the environmental conditions stated in its product specification, including factors such as dust, moisture, salt, humidity, temperature and airborne contamination where applicable. The installed system and required filtration performance should be checked before selection.
Yes. Airguard Envirocare can provide available technical information for HVL-AG, including technical datasheets, technical drawings and other relevant information on request.
The HVL-AG manufacturing origin is the United Kingdom.
Depending on the product, order requirements and delivery location, HVL-AG can be delivered in approximately 2 to 7 working weeks.
Use of an alternative filter should not be described as automatically voiding a gas turbine warranty. Warranty terms are set by the turbine OEM and the applicable contract, so customers should confirm the requirements with the OEM or operator before installation. Where this product is used as an OEM-equivalent replacement, its dimensions and performance specifications should be verified for the specific installation.
Yes. Airguard Envirocare offers a 12-month manufacturer's warranty for HVL-AG.
